Biography
With a strong passion for electronic music since his early age, Matthew’s activity on the scene started in 2004 when he moved to Lille and meet the Electrone team. He began Djing in clubs the following year and organised dance music events at the same time with the association Electrone Events. Fascinated by House music, Minimal or Techno, Matthew mixes these various styles to build his sets. Co- hosting the radio program “Dance and Digest” for 2 years with his friend and Dj Johannes Karl, Matthew kept improving his dj skills by receiving every week an actor of the electronic music scene from the North of France. 2006 is the beginning of his residency as a Dj and event promoter in the notorious club The Kiosk in Lille with the night Trust My Radio. He had the opportunity to play with guests such as Alex Kid, Smash TV, The Micronauts, Daniel Stefanik, Seuil, Pierre (Fuse), James Unk and many more. Invited by the other actors of the Lille scene, he also played with locals such as Matthus Raman, UFO, Lutzeo, Guillom, Benales, Lebeatcchic, PussySelektor, Pix, Bubble and so on. 2007 was the beginning of the important collaboration with the notorious Belgium label LessizMore Records. LessizMore and Electrone Events have been organising events to promote and broadcast the LessizMore artists in France. In 2009, Matthew have been travelling for a year, discovering the emerging scenes of Australia and Spain.
Back in Lille in 2010, Matthew got involved in many projects, working with Signaletik Records being the main one. With a strong passion for electronic music, important knowledge, connections and various skills due to the promotion of this culture for years, Matthew is an artist full of surprises.
